I've lived with two medical doctors, both of whom referred to me, with a doctorate in particle physics but now a software engineer, as the 'real doctor'.
- clentaminator 11y agoWhich for me really highlights the point that, despite using the same title, the word doctor implies two completely different but equally important types of experience.
- rahimnathwani 11y agoIn Chinese, the common words for medical doctor (大夫 and 医生) are totally different from the other type (博士).
