- vidarh 11y agoNoone are pumping 10 year olds full of hormones for the parents sake. Children that have undergone lenghty consultations and therapy are sometimes given puberty-delaying hormone-blockers because the medical evidence is that it substantially reduces emotional and behavioural problems and depression to delay onset until the child matures further mentally and emotionally and is in a better place to decide whether to transition or not.
