- SatoshiRoberts 11y agoThey will be acquired by Twitter or AOL/verizon
- DonHopkins 11y agoFoursquare will buy them, to get back into the Foursquare business.
- rburhum 11y agoThis is one of those moments where I wish there was a nice way to express sarcasm. I hope your comment was meant to be delivered with it. A lot of it.
- glibgil 11y agoThere is a good way. He expressed it, you picked up on it, but you just don't trust the rest of the audience. Honestly, is there any way your type of comment makes sarcasm more enjoyable for everyone else? We get it
- nugget 11y agoSomeone will acquire them. The brand and employees are worth a billion dollars, in my opinion. Local is a very difficult market to crack.
- nostrademons 11y agoData as well. I can think of at least three companies worth $100B+ (and several worth $1B+) that would love to have comprehensive reviews of nearly every local business in the U.S.
- SOLAR_FIELDS 11y agoI work for a large company that has Yelp flavored data as part of their services and can confirm that they do pay Yelp money for their data. It's worth quite a lot.
- hiddencost 11y agoAmazon. Alexa already integrates with Yelp, and Amazon would love to have all that tasty local commerce data. All kinds of interesting things they could do to integrate with Yelp (Amazon have _so many products_)
