Maybe I'm the wrong demo for this product, but the main reason I've paid for MailChimp in the past is so others not that familiar with email marketing, personalization, HTML for email, etc. can easily put together email marketing pieces. I wouldn't want to be the only person on a team capable of sending an email, so using ESPs like MailChimp help out a lot with that.
