- marcoperaza 11y agoDifferences among humans are not analogous to the gap between us and animals. All human beings have equal moral worth. We clearly do not believe the same thing about animals. To make animals morally equal to human beings is completely incompatible with the reality of the world. It's fantastical thinking with potentially destructive consequences, if decisions are made that harm the interests of people in order to help animals.
- richmarr 11y ago> All human beings have equal moral worth Perhaps most of us would like that to be true, but judging humanity by it's behaviour rather than by its stated ideals I'd say we're not there yet.
