"The same study found that approximately 1 in 21 men had been made to penetrate someone else, usually an intimate partner or acquaintance."
This is completely in line with original claim, "have been forced into sexual intercourse against their will". Wiki page does call this rape when it comes to women, but not when it comes to men.
- kupaka 11y agoI don't think it's intellectually honest to mix and match stats from different studies to fit your worldview. The study that has the 1 in 21 stat for men who have been forced to penetrate also says that 1 in 5 women have been raped. - PieterH 11y agoI didn't see the full study. Thanks for pointing me to it. Indeed the figures are higher for women than for men. Let me edit my comment to reflect that.
