    That's what Stalin said. But since parent was being sarcastic, yes, Stalinism is about being considerate.

    The peasants were actually, legitimately being oppressed. Someone rose up to fight a good fight and ended up saying (as a well known someone in these circles frequently says) the non oppressed group should be killed. Yep: it's pretty Stalinist.

  What a total non sequitur. You haven't showed that rotw is saying "meritocracy is discrimination." You've merely insinuated that by saying this total cliche.
