Small suggestion: Add geographic location on the name tags so those traveling from afar can network with local hackers. I was really wishing for that last year...
- pg 19y agoIf people have other suggestions, tell us here. One thing we'd thought of doing was having different colored dots people could put on their nametags if they were looking for a startup or looking for more people for one...
- lsb 19y agoStartup School: the traffic light party for nerds.
- eusman 19y agojustin.tv could have a live link for the rest of us? maybe?
- danielha 19y agoThey did last year.
- abstractbill 19y agoGreat idea. I'm sure we'll do it.
- cstejerean 19y agoI hope you go forward with this idea, it should help out with networking.
- leeskye 19y agoI absolutely agree. It would really help to see why people are coming down there and can also be a great icebreaker.
- edw519 19y agoHow about "Would Like a Place To Stay" and "Can Host a Hacker", possibly even check boxes on the application form. If I travel cross country for what could be a life changing weekend, I'd rather spend the down time hanging with like minded people instead of at a Best Western. (Maybe then someone could throw a web app together to help us find each other)
- danielha 19y agoThat's a cool idea.
