- magic_beans 11y agoWow, I can't believe how lovely this is.
- Yhippa 11y agoThat was very cool. Thanks for sharing. I wonder how people even thought to do something like this? It seems that it's at least a scene now based on the suggested videos.
- soundwave106 11y agoMost of these videos I believe were created with Paulstretch, an open source audio time stretching application specifically optimized for creating nice ambient textures for very long stretches. Paul Nasca gives a brief overview of the algorithm here: http://www.paulnasca.com/algorithms-created-by-me#TOC-PaulStretch-extreme-sound-stretching-algorithm http://www.paulnasca.com/algorithms-created-by-me#TOC-PaulSt...
- earl_gray 11y agoThat reminds me of 'Truman Sleeps' from the Truman Show played, again, very slowly. It's a bit creepy... but I like to listen to it when I'm studying. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bH2i-Qxxpec https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bH2i-Qxxpec
- zimpenfish 11y ago14x slowdown of Swede Mason's "Jeremy Clarkson Beatbox" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RY9u0LxIWJk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RY9u0LxIWJk) makes for some epic dark ambient. http://rjp-hosted-files.s3.amazonaws.com/dark_ambient_clarkson.mp3 http://rjp-hosted-files.s3.amazonaws.com/dark_ambient_clarks...
- david-given 11y agoI'm only a little way into this but I could swear this is the Planescape soundtrack. Thanks!
