I think I'm going to start redirecting a portion of my savings to some sort of a basket of foreign currencies. If in 10 or 20 years, we don't clean up our act and a huge part of my taxes are just servicing debt, I'll just move somewhere else. I don't even care if the taxes are higher in another country; so long as I get good value for my taxes paid.
