Anything that impacts the readability of the markup sent to the client is an atrocity - not that Google would care about this since they are notorious abusers of js obfuscation. Don't be evil indeed.

- cbr 11y agoIf you're visiting a website that runs PageSpeed and you want to see the original markup, add ?PageSpeed=off to the url. For example, compare http://www.jefftk.com/index http://www.jefftk.com/index to http://www.jefftk.com/index?PageSpeed=off http://www.jefftk.com/index?PageSpeed=off
