Ugh. I don't understand all this recent Broad/Lander vitriol. You can ask pretty much anyone in the field and they'll all say the work was a tour de force (see first comment in the article for instance). Focusing on the press release wording misses the point imo.
- bhickey 11y agoThere's a lot of professional and personal acrimony toward Lander dating back at least to the Human Genome Project. I don't know if this is just a continuation of that, but throughout the late '00s it was surprising to hear the venom his rivals were eager to dish out.
