I had this innovative idea for working with datasets - show pagination like this: Page 1. Next 20>> Next 40>> Next 80>> I.e. you can request larger pages right from pagination block if you think you need them. (And on that page you will be able to downsize page or make it even larger) But I have to admit, load-on-scrolling does make it more or less obsolete.
