Ask HN: How to collaborate with experts in one team?

At day job, I have a manager who knows a lot more than me and I feel like he is always right (most of the time) He is also kind person and asks my opinion about issue while meeting/working together, sometimes I do have an opinion, sometimes not, sometimes even I have an opinion I feel its not that good as his, so I just prefer silence. How do you work with experts who are much more knowledgeable than you, but all the time wants to know your opinion.
