Would putting a big data center underground work? (ala geothermal cooling?)

  You've heard of geothermal heating? Of course, the ground can be reasonable cool, if you don't go too deep. The problem is, the heat will mostly stay where you put it---the ground is bad for actually moving the heat away.

    IIRC, in geothermal cooling, don't they pipe liquid to disperse the heat to the surrounding ground? Also, earth homes?
