The only way this works is if people with productive jobs end up with less money than today.
- lotharbot 11y agoNot necessarily net zero, but net "a lot less than it looks like". There are a lot of tax breaks that are designed to reduce the tax burden of the middle class -- things like mortgage interest deductions -- that could be eliminated in a "Basic Income" setting.
