2. Waiting for an hour or so every other day before you can leave the work since you already done everything for today and don't feel like coding anymore today.
Frustrating:
1. Corruption
2. Incompetent people (see 1)
- kluck 11y agoWhile I do not particularly often take part in meetings, I know of some colleagues who often go and have programming to do. I really can see the stress in their eyes, when the meetings for the day are over shortly after lunch time and they have a lot (a lot) of coding still to do. Also there are two kinds of incompetent people: those knowing (or somehow "sensing") they have "to learn a lot" and those thinking they are king (don't even know about basic CS stuff).
- arnold_palmur 11y agoI had 6 meetings totally 4 hours last Friday (granted I work for a large bank), but it's causing me to reconsider if I really want to be here.
- kluck 11y agoYou could write a small program that, everytime some calculation is done with money, cuts of the remaining fractions of cents and puts them into your bank account. Over time it will be a lot of money and no one will notice ;)
