- GiraffeNecktie 17y agoQuite right. Batteries die and sometimes they die prematurely so 100s of users - probably many thousands - will have battery problems at any point in time. I'm not saying the article isn't true, but anecdotal evidence doesn't mean very much. You'd need to do a comparison of x number of identical laptops, half running Windows 7 and half running something else.
