Last visit to dentist ,he mentions his parents are both doctors. I asked , why didn't you go into medicine. He told me his parents urged him into dentistry. They felt their professions had changed ( negatively ) so much from their early careers. He said mostly due to pharma taking over and they no longer had any autonomy. They knew he would have more freedom and autonomy as a dentist.
