When you consider a job opportunity you have to take into account many factors that are important to you but might not be to the employer. Factors such as your travel time, company culture, remote working, free soda and so forth. You have three options... 1, Accept it and get on with the job. (Seems like you are not likely to go with this) 2, Request/persuade boss to let you remote work. (Seems unlikely if they have a corporate culture) 3, Look for another job that does match your desires. (Should be easy as you have 'the stones')
