This is fantastic news. Now, let's see Heroku use either this or Let's Encrypt and eliminate their onerous $20 per host SSL fee, which is making the Internet less secure.
- colinbartlett 11y agoThis would be huge. Heroku's high monthly SSL cost is a big reason I've moved dozens of smaller apps and sites to Digital Ocean. As I moved to using SSL everywhere I realized Heroku's costs were not sustainable for random side projects and static sites.
