You could still happily roll your own Wordpress site but have it hosted with a managed provider. Also stick something like Headway Theme in there and you get a pretty easy setup even for not technical folks.
- peterwwillis 11y agoEven considering Wordpress probably makes up 50% of the compromised sites on the internet, due to its terrible security track record and that nobody patches their own blogs?
- mynewtb 11y agoWordpress auto-updates. Most exploits are in plugins.
- mmaunder 11y agoYou can get auto-updates and we do a pretty good job of protecting WP sites. But the situation is dire.
