Has something actually changed? I mean, appreciably in just a few months time? Just goes to show angel investors, while an essential component of the startup ecosystem, can be emotional, illogical, and volatile. If you're unable to accurately value what you invest in and prone to getting swept up in hype, you shouldn't be investing in startups (or maybe anything). The ones who suffer in all this aren't the investors -- they're already rich. It's the employees who get shitted on, forced to work harder for less, or loose their jobs because of the whims of the market and other people's faulty thinking.
