I think that most people draw the line right at the behaviors that they enjoy, but others consider unhealthy. It's kind of a classic in this country - "I don't do X because I think it's bad - let's tax/shame/incarcerate anybody who does X, because they're too stupid to realize how bad X is! Think of the children!!!" and "I can't believe they're taxing Y! I've been doing Y for years, and it's my business. It's a 'free' country!"
