Yes, but in 2016 it'll be same-day ACH Credit only. That doesn't solve the problem. The ACH delay is on the Debit side (2 working days ) which will not be same-

Yes, but in 2016 it'll be same-day ACH Credit only. That doesn't solve the problem. The ACH delay is on the Debit side (2 working days ) which will not be same-day until 2017 and the banks are not mandated to update balances same day until 2018. So same day ACH will not be effective till mid 2018
- prplhaz4 11y agoPer the linked article, effective Sept 23, 2016: >> Virtually all types of ACH payments, including both credits and debits, will be eligible for same-day processing. Only international transactions (IATs) and high-value transactions above $25,000 will not be eligible. Eligible transactions account for approximately 99 percent of current ACH Network volume. Also of note, same-day is not real-time...it is disappointing that we are not pursuing real-time transactions.
- BallinBige 11y agoa large problem and reason why ACH's are so slow, revolve around the lack of real time fund validation. it doesnt exist. Returns (NSF's) create a huge issue and lag in the entire process
