1) Existence of individual examples is not a proof of good probability of recovering from drug overdose into productive member of society. 2) Our society already has mechanisms that help in case of OD: People usually try to call 911 if they see someone in a bad shape. The question is whether we need to spend more resources on helping fixing OD cases or may be spend these resources on other good causes.
