- seiji 11y agoCan do the same thing a little more simply by sniffing phone 802.11x mac addresses and/or bluetooth identifiers. Can also modify the idea a bit to create an "unknown person" warning system if it detects unauthorized device IDs broadcasting within range.

- mvid 11y agoNo, not in practicality. It only changes the MAC when the iPhone is asleep. Since apps have so much background functionality, the phones almost never sleep.
