One thing that is not discussed in the book is how to clear a memory palace for reuse. Any suggestions?
I read the book a few years ago, and to this day I still see a large jar of pickled onions outside my parent's garage, cottage cheese outside their front door, and other items on the shopping list given in the book scattered throughout their house, which suggests reuse is going to be a problem.
- EdwardCoffin 11y agoThey briefly touch upon it in chapter 11. It says to spring clean by mentally walking through and emptying them of lingering images. Additionally, some high level competitors won't even talk with anyone three days before a contest, to avoid forming interfering associations.
