Video games are a major industry where there was significant pushback from DRM thanks to sellers like GOG. There are still many games with DRM, but the portion that don't use DRM has increased significantly.
- Silhouette 11y agoI'm personally very happy for GOG's success, but as I mentioned in response to 'Zikes, we do have to keep that in perspective here. Sadly, that "significant pushback" doesn't seem to stop certain big name game developers from pushing out new products that people will still pre-order by the zillion even though the launch of the previous title in the franchise fell over for days because the servers died or some such.
