This is a great post. This is the by far most common miss-understanding I get from new startups. People are far too confident their product have reached product-market-fit before that is actually true - often making this claim with very little data.
I've seen many VC's who are not data-literate enough to be able to understand the difference between measuring product value and growth without substance.
