Backlit displays have only replaced CRTs in the last 10 or so years. I don't recall old monitors having a problem with being blue.

- iSnow 11y agoThey had. In the 1990's I worked frequently into the night and owned a CRT with color profiles. After the sun went down, I switched to a more warm profile.
