I used /etc/hosts to redirect distractions to a full-screen rickroll. Surprisingly effective.

  In my previous job we had metal chairs and synthethic carpet that charged you with even a few moves. Every single time I stood up and wanted to move my chair out of the way - I was electrocuted. I worked there for 10 months, yet few years later I'm still subconsciously avoiding touching metal parts of my chair when I'm standing up to go to toilet or make a tea. I''m thinking it could be made into an app (with some usb device to punish you) :)
