I don't think using a placebo is sufficient in a study like this. I'd like to see another psychedelic used as a control, not just a placebo. Subjects are going to "know" when they've received psilocybin and then they're going to be likely to "perform" better when evaluated for depression. At least that would be my hypothesis.
