I can see it working for governments but for private banks, not sure. Even in Canada, we see a lot of value placed on business relationships and even though there's plenty of transparency, many times there are things that get swept under. However, in Canada, we do have a system like that for government projects so it could definitely be a step in the right direction. Especially for developing countries.
