I'd be inclined to agree, but then Google did start spam-binning its own security notifications a while ago and didn't seem to notice until Linus Torvalds started blogging about the rise in spam false positives. "Never attribute to malice what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - that is the Google motto, after all. ;)
