Ask HN: What are the risks of radio frequency fields?
My friend's rooftop has a cell tower on it. The door leading to the roof has a sign that states: "Radio frequency fields beyond this point may exceed the FCC general public exposure limit. Obey all posted signs and site guidelines for working in radio frequency environments."
Rule(S) 47 CFR 1.1307(b)
Can anyone tell me the dangers associated? Should I not go on the roof at all?

- classicsnoot 11y agoI have no idea if you will get this or not, because you hellbanned me. I was trying to get a deeper understanding of the dangers and mysteries of RF fields. The needlessly snide response of @GFK was a catalyst for an undeniably immature response on my part. To ban me for breaking the guidelines was heavy handed. You did not list a specific rule, nor did you explain yourself in any detail. I do appreciate that you went out of your way to comment on a post by a user that has no cult following or internet cache, but given GFK's status, i assume this was because i insulted one of the ITeratti. I get it; the F-word is over the top. I did not intend to slur anyone's choice or predisposition vis a vis fucking. I come from a shitty part of the iternet where the F-word means much more than a sex preference pejorative. I am not one of you blessed few. I am a college student that focuses on PoliSci and International Conflict. HN is not a place i go to torch n00bs or show off my witty IT knowledge. It is a place i go to learn. I'm thankful for GFK's contributions to the global discussion atmosphere, and as i already stated my response was crass and churlish. Respectfully, i humbly request that you rescind my ban. I will endeavor to not nom on bait henceforth.
