I know the feeling. Western leftists love to paint up a pretty picture of violent Marxists groups.
For the record I actually recommend watching it. They really show how the communists are a bunch of worthless "academic" sacks of shits looking for money and glory.
The show is good for other reasons as well. It shows how the war escalates from bribing to rocket launchers and suixide covers to cops forming own militia.
- ucaetano 11y agoI've watched it already, it is a pretty good show! It is specially relevant to other Latin American countries, who could learn something from Colombia's impressive turnaround over the past 20 years.
- cm2187 11y agoI hope that this will be showed in future seasons as for as good as the show is, it provides a horrendous vision of Colombia.
- digaozao 11y agoI agree, I visited colombia last year. Bogota, once stage of many of these violent events, feels safer than most big cities in Brazil, where I live
