Toymail (YC W16) is hiring an operations lead
Our Company
We're an Amazon and Verizon backed, early stage tech startup in the current batch of YC, but based in NYC. We're building a groundbreaking way for kids to exchange voice messages with loved ones, without putting them behind another screen. Kid friendly and parent approved, Toymail enables kids to communicate remotely with their loved ones right from their toys. Our founding team are the serial entrepreneurs behind Clocky, the runaway alarm clock that has sold over a million units. We have deep roots in the startup and consumer product spaces. We value people who communicate complex ideas with fluency and attack problems creatively with simple and focused execution.
The Role
We’re looking for a Head of Operations who loves our mission. You will collaborate with our CEO, engineers, operations, and eventually marketing and sales teams. We'll be working together to scale during YC and beyond with Generation 2 of our product, to be launched in Spring with everything from operations, usage analysis, and biz dev. Please inquire for specific job duties.

The Interview Process
We’ll start out with a simple conversation. At the end of that, we’ll know if we could make a good team. If all goes well with that, we’ll bring on more team members for our second meeting and do some higher resolution Q&A. We make hiring decisions fairly quickly, so if it’s a go, we can onboard within a few days.
