I'm a little confused.
Map shows very few countries - no Singapore as mentioned in the article
Also the article mentioned 190 countries at one point and 130 at other places. Moreover, Netflix claims it has 70M subscribers across 130 countries. How is that possible if they just launched it?
- dcchambers 11y agoThey have 70m existing customers. That country count is including the countries it has been in for years.

- smackfu 11y ago60 old countries, 130 new countries, total 190 countries. The footer says 70M subscribers across 190 countries, and was probably updated today. In their last press release in November, that line said "Netflix is the world’s leading Internet television network with over 69 million members in over 60 countries..."
- netvarun 11y agoOT: but it works in India now - no more silly vpns needed. There goes my hidemyass subscription.
- pyvek 11y agoBut the library isn't as big in India as it is in the US so you might want to keep your VPN subscription after all.
