I will never understand why Authors let their bias and vitriol ruin their essays when they are trying to make a legitimate point. I simply cannot take an essay

I will never understand why Authors let their bias and vitriol ruin their essays when they are trying to make a legitimate point. I simply cannot take an essay at face value when it is riddled with anger and emotion. Not to say emotion isn't a valid point, and doesn't make for a good read, but it completely undermines the objectivity of the author and defeats the point.
