Lost a bunch of files after switching to the Mac due to the ridiculous 'replace' (OSX) vs 'merge folder contents' (Windows) feature when dragging a folder. After upgrading my Mac with a bigger hard drive, I dragged a projects folder from the backup drive to the computer, interpreted the "...will replace..." prompt as "duplicate files will replace" which was fine. Lost a lot of work. Just confirmed this destructive behavior is true to this day. Long live dropbox with rat-pack option.
