Even in my younger decades, I was unable to have the kind of recall that you talk about here. I'm no dullard, and I've been doing well as a technical person since the beginning. Many of my friends used to remember numbers and such random data quite well. There are different kinds of brains. Some of us are fundamentally no good at remembering 'random' data.
