So I keep telling clients: if we use WP for your low traffic site is like renting an 18-wheeler to move a small box. Yet, I feel like doctors must feel when patients argue 'quoting' something they read on the Internet: suddenly they are the experts now :(
- x1024 11y agoIt depends on your point of view. The server load caused by WP is much larger than most alternatives, yes. But the development(and ops) time required to ship a WP site is much lower than any alternative I know of.
- manigandham 11y agoYet WP does come by default with a lot of the cruft problems mentioned here. Lots of inefficient js and css added over the years.
