The HiDPI point is pretty critical - many higher end laptops these days have HiDPI screens, and HiDPI desktop monitors are getting affordable. I think with GNOME you only get integer scale factors: way too tiny or way too big on most HiDPI screens.
- zobzu 11y agoNo such problem with plasma/kde. I use it on a 1080p 13' screen and a 4k 13' screen. its in fact much better than windows 10 in that area...
- davidw 11y agoI have one of the new Dell XPS 13 with a high-res screen, and it works great with the exception of a few things that I mostly don't use any more, like Tk.
