srean: A system where market forces decide the level or duration of patent protection is an excellent idea. Could you share anything you’ve read or written that elaborates on this?
- srean 11y agoUnfortunately I have neither read nor written anything about it. This would require some thinking and large scale consensus building. (i) Futures market and (ii) bid to bring to public domain are the two market apparatus I could think of. Individuals with better knowledge in economics and finances would likely be able to come up with other mechanisms.
