You can't make any money playing live though, unless you're in Pearl Jam you're basically scraping by as a glorified beer salesman and it's a pretty shitty existence.

It assumes that the value of the work is simply in the physical reproduction and not in the artistic expression. If it is too expensive for you then sure, don't spend your money on it, but what right do you have to say what something like that is worth?

- sosborn 11y agoOn an individual level sure, but there is no need to prescribe "acceptable" levels for an entire industry on behalf on everyone else.
- hellbanTHIS 11y agoI meant to say that's about the price it needs to be to get people buying music again. It's gotta be well within the impulse buy range.
