I was thinking the same. 5-6 days non stop attacks of dozens Gbps seriously is a big and very costly operation which seems to have been planned for a long time to be launched in Christmas holidays. I wonder which shitty hosting company decided to extort Linode because they can not offer the same quality of service. Instead of paying thousands $$$$$ to design and perform these attacks they could have just paid this money to buy better infrastructure and provide better services.
