It's especially hard to learn what those ideas are if you don't talk to them.
- ksenzee 11y agoNot particularly. There are lots of ways to find out whether someone wants to talk to you. Eye contact is a good one. So is general demeanor. So is whether or not they're burying themselves in their smartphone.
- anthony_d 11y agoOuch. You can't respect humans very much if you think a glance is sufficient for learning everything you need to about them.
