I use Papers too. I've set it up so that all my loaded papers are automatically re-saved in a structured library as plain PDFs /Category/Year-Author-Title.pdf.

I use Papers too. I've set it up so that all my loaded papers are automatically re-saved in a structured library as plain PDFs /Category/Year-Author-Title.pdf. That library folder is on my Dropbox. So I can access it anywhere else without Papers installed.
