I can understand feeling empathy for the people doing these jobs, but that doesn't make them less responsible for their moral decisions.
"I was just following orders" is not a legitimate excuse. (I won't finish the comment, out of respect for Godwin's Law)
- morganvachon 11y ago> "I was just following orders" is not a legitimate excuse. Nor is there an excuse for treating another human being like a piece of shit because they have a job you don't like. How is one any better than the other?
- coldpie 11y agoFor the thousandth time, I'm not mistreating them because they "have a job I don't like." I'm mistreating them because they are mistreating me for no benefit to anyone. I'm sorry I'm not Ghandi, but when someone harms me for absolutely no reason I'm liable to be angry about it.
